 Surprise Inside, October 1, 2012

Purchased one each "Tommy Hilfiger Easy Tote Pebble Leather" during a 'Lightening Deal' for ~ -- less than half normal cost...Showed Wife, she said yes so ordered....It arrived in 2 days via Prime, well boxed as usual... I'll go out on a limb here and mention my Wife is fairly particular about this sort stuff--She's normally not interested unless it's 'Coach' or better quality... Anyway, when the package arrived, she open it with zeal, and the purse really looks good (as shown), and the thickness and overall quality of leather , she said "Okay-to Good". Yet when she saw the lil tag inside at bottom saying "Made in China", I saw her expression change from interest to disappointment. She did however like enough and decide to keep -- esp since we paid less than half normal price... Now, If the Amazon ad, or the Brand website mentioned place of mfr at the time we ordered, I'd be pecking a more gratified review... Our previous post, same item/ topic was removed.  Great bag, September 27, 2012 This is really nice bag; very big and roomy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it needs more pockets!! I end up clipping my keys to the handle so they don't get lost in the bottom of the bag with everything else. I would much prefer to have an outside pocket for keys, glasses, a pen, phone, etc., and inside pockets so I can find things more easily. On the plus side, the leather is nice the bag looks expensive, and it's big enough to carry a full size notebook. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?

TH Easy Tote, October 8, 2012 Like the bag but it definitely could use some stronger (i.e., thicker and longer) straps. How can a tote have such tiny straps? If you're like me, you carry quite a bit in your bag so you need straps that can stand up to the wear and tear. Also, some outside pockets for cell phone, keys, etc. would have been nice.
