When I received it I realized the areas that look black in the photo are actually dark brown. (The trim is light brown). I like the purse even more with the brown because of the color contrast with the teal. (I bought this thinking it was teal/black) I bought a similarly styled purse that I had returned because it had deceivingly small interior, heavy weight and too much noise, but THIS PURSE IS PERFECT. True to size on the inside (outer shell is same size as inner lining-no optical illusions here!). Still a tad noisy, but not nearly as heavy as the other style. (See my reviews if you want to know about the other purse). This purse is great for organization! The inner lining is black cloth, it has two open sections-one on either side of a middle zipper compartment-also a small zipper pocket on the one side of the inside, and two slider pockets on the other interior side. All this is closed up with a zipper on top. The outside of the purse has a snap pocket on either side (great for keys, lipsticks, cigs and lighter-anything you need quick), and there is a zipper pocket on the back along with a slit/slide pocket for your cell phone. Yes the slit is wide enough to hold larger/chunky smart phones. There are great details like the brass-tone cross with a lot of clear crystal decorations, and metal studs for "feet" on bottom of purse. Due to my experience with the similar purse that I returned to Amazon, I realized I can dramatically cut down the "shackle noise" if I remove the three links on each side of the handles and just connect the large o-rings directly to the rings on the purse. Easy enough to do-all I needed were pliers. Even though this purse is listed as "western", it goes with my gothic-style of clothing nicely, and I think it would go with a lot of other styles just as well. |
