 unusual shape and attractive fall pattern, but..., November 1, 2011 I really like the distinctive "look" of this bag. I also love the buttercup pattern and have the matching watch in that pattern as well. My only caveat is that though this is a large bag, you lose some usable space due to design and the magnetic closure. If you wish it to stay closed, you need to be sure all your "stuff" doesn't fill the bag too near the top or it will not close properly. Still, this is a big bag and it holds plenty for most occasions. But given its dimensions are 18" x 11?" x 5?", one might expect it to hold even more. Just consider the design if you are thinking about using it to carry the maximum amount and give thought to whether you will want to be sure it can stay shut when you do. I love Vera and have bags of various sizes and patterns, so I am very happy with this bag. But if I was only going to have one large Vera tote, for practical reasons, it probably would not be this one as I could carry far more stuff more securely in a zip style bag with a more traditional boxy shape. (I also would not consider using it for travel on plane or train, as even when closed, there are gaps on both sides where items could roll out if it tipped over.) But it is CUTE! Nice Bag, January 18, 2013 The fabric print and style of this bag are very elegant. It's a nice size without being too large and it has several side pockets inside for organizing smaller items.
