I bought this from amazon and it is the real thing. i was reaeding hte reviews after I received it and was shocked to see someone had written it wasnt. How do I know it is real? 1. Registration. it requires to be registered if it is one of their bags, and I went to the dooney site to do just that. 2. Used it at the park (went to walt disney yesterday). It is the real thing. Asked them to check and make sure. They showed me the disney tags inside. No brainer It is a nice bag, no issues so far, but it is very large! I mean really big!!!! If you are a skeptic on buying it here, then go to the theme parks or call a theme park, they will send it to you (additional charge for shipping). The price is accurate. I am pleased with the print, style of purse and the fun aspect of the purse. I do find that there are no protective feet and that is a problem with wear . Also the pink/red dye on the tea cups started to run and it looks like I smeared red crayon on this purse. I also bought the little change purse and it is perfect for credit cards and bills.
