 Fossil Quality: As Expected! Purchased to Carry My Mac Book Air., September 14, 2012 I've carried a beautiful saddle-colored Fossil bag since around the year 2000, and see no reason it won't last another 10-15 years. This looks just as good. Perhaps even a little better. I plan to use it as my portable writing station. I'm a writer and need something to carry everywhere. I chose this tote to accommodate my 11" MacBook Air. Seems perfect. I use a Timbuk2 padded sleeve, and it fits if I put it in vertically, then rotate to horizontal. The opening is a little smaller than the bottom. I can put the charger in an outside pocket, along with my wallet and sunglasses, and nestle anything thinner inside the purse itself. All without adding too much weight or making it bulky. The bag remains slim and comfortable to carry. Don't foresee any problems. I bought the Metallic, which is actually more subtle in person. The back color is a neutral leather with metallic over it, so you can still see the leather. The straps contrast beautifully. Update: 24 November, 2012. Still perfect. Had planned to use only occasionally. Haven't even attempted to use any other bag since I bought this. Perfect and never feels heavy. If I do have it stuffed, I can hold by the small handstraps to avoid backstrain. But it has to be incredibly full for that.  I wanted to love this purse!, January 24, 2013 I had been lusting after this purse for ages. I tried one on at a department store and everything. I finally received it and the reality was that this purse is so cumbersome to carry around, the aesthetics don't even matter. To begin with, it is so heavy. The fold over top is a cute idea, but when it comes time to take something out, it's almost impossible to do while wearing the purse. This makes checkout lines are rather embarrassing and slow... If I did manage to get my wallet, etc. out of the purse in the checkout line, I'd almost certainly have to stop afterwards, and put everything down in order to reload the purse. I thought that I would love how big the purse is... I like to carry around a ton of stuff. However, this purse fit much less than other much smaller purses that I have, just due to the organization of the bag. I hoped that this purse would fit my ipad, but no dice. It was just too bulky and heavy w the ipad in it. Unfortunately I'm returning this purse. I wish it worked out better. Gorgeous!, December 29, 2012 I got this bag in the metallic for Christmas. SOOOOO beautiful! The metallic has a destroyed finish it, so it's not super bright or flashy, just understated and simply exquisite. Lots of nooks and crannies on the inside and the top outside pocket is perfect for my new 8.9 kindle fire HD. The bag really has a very neutral look to it and it also looks very expensive. I really thought it would have cost more. Fossil has really out done themselves this year with their newest line of bags. Lots of choices and some of the coolest and hippest looking bags around.
